Part 1: ESSAY OUTLINE
1)Write your thesis statement
2)Look at the example of an outline (uploaded additional file)
3) Follow the same structure as the example outline and write your outline.
4) Out line must include THESIS, INTRODUCTION,BODY PARAGRAPH ,Supporting topics/points/arguments (atleast 3), Example of each supporting topic/points/arguments (atleast 3 each), and Conclusion.
5)Be sure to include at least 5 credible and up-to-date references.
PART TWO: Essay
1) Paper should be written in an essay format(following the structure of the essay as stated in the outline).
2) the structure to follow :INTRODUCTION:
General statement or orientation to topic
Thesis statement
Brief summary of the main topics/arguments/points made in the essay
BODY PARAGRAPHS:
Topic sentences
supporting sentence and examples (3)
supporting sentence and examples (3)
supporting sentence and examples (3)
(do the same for two more body paragraphs)
These sentences support, expand or explain the point made in the topic sentence.
Provides one or more counterarguments
CONCLUSION:Restatement or summary of the main points made in the body paragraphs and a final comment (if appropriate)
3)Cite your references in text accurately and provide a reference list.
4) LOOK AT THE RESEARCH PAPER RUBRIC TO MAKE SURE THE RESEARCH PAPER IS MEETING ALL THE REQUIREMENTS TO GET LEVEL 4 (FILE WILL BE UPLOADED)
